OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:

The Sales and Marketing Specialist is responsible for oversight and coordination of census development and related sales and marketing activities for the VIVAGE facilities and assigned consulting homes


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business & Census Development:             % time

  • Communicates routinely with Director of Sales and Marketing to assure a coordinated census development effort is maintained between the facilities Administrator, Admissions Director, internal admissions team, and involved Vivage staff 

  • Responsible for development of facility baseline census development assessments, assisting in annual strategic sales and marketing plans, semi-annual competitor analysis, and other strategic reports as assigned

  • Trains and monitors admissions reports for weekly census outcomes per facility including: budget variance, census mix, data on inquiries, assessments, outcomes of all referrals

  • Assists facility and sales and marketing team in the collection, analysis and monitoring of referral source data related to important aspects of census growth and market niche’ opportunities as part of monthly reporting

  • Provide ongoing assessment and recommendations for correction of facility environment as it relates to sales and marketing and presentation

  • Assists facilities in development of marketing brochures, website information, advertising, press releases, community outreach, and public relations efforts



Implementation/Training Duties:             % time

  • Supports and provides technical assistance in the implementation of policy and procedures regarding sales and marketing, admissions, and public relations corporate standards 

  • Conducts site visits to assist in implementation and ongoing maintenance of corporate programs and procedures, and perform quality improvement audits of assigned technical areas

  • Responsible for assisting in development and implementation of internal customer service programs, training, and tracking satisfaction data established as standards

  • Trains and quality assures facility inquiry management systems and admissions team processes to assure coordinated effort and timely response to referral source

  • Assists with training and follow-up to specific internal or external customer


Communication/ Relationship Building:              %time

  • Communicates to the Director of Sales and Marketing, and Vivage team regarding facility status, census, and marketing and public relations activity

  • Participates in facility sales and marketing team meetings as able to assure facilities receive adequate supervision, guidance and support in identifying and implementing strategic marketing plan objectives and adherence to strategies for marketing best practices

  • Serves as consultant to assigned consulting homes and complies with reporting and project requirements of that consultative project, including travel, scope of work, report of findings and recommendations and expense management

  • Performs other related tasks as assigned


Community Involvement/Public Relations%time

  • Communicates with families, residents and community leaders to create a positive image of the corporation in the community

  • Keeps facilities appraised of community and competitor changes that will effect operation of the facility

  • Participates at the local level on committees sales and marketing and public relations, focusing of new business and census opportunities for facilities



SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Must be knowledgeable of computer systems, google platform and other office equipment

  • Must have advance computer skills

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills


EDUCATION 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Health Services or other Health Related Field, Master’s Degree Preferred

Experience

  • Sales experience in Senior Living
