This person will run the front of the house (F.O.H) and the staff for the F.O.H ( i.e. servers). They must be enthusiastic and assertive. They will also be interacting with the residents on a daily basis and should be kind and understanding. The person in this position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Schedule Servers strategically for Service needs
Ensure proper handling of Food and Beverage by serving staff
Oversee Dining Room Operations as it pertains to Service quality Standards
Train and Follow up to insure Associates are following Written guidelines
Train all staff in proper serving edicate i.e. women first, seat 1-4
Ensure all servers are working with the same goals in mind.
Communicate with Executive and Sous Chef(s) regarding service, food, and staff
Communicate Menu changes with serving staff
Ensuring Sanitation & Infection Control in the kitchen, dining room, and staff
Ensure server items are properly stored, labeled, and dated.
Serve food according to dietary guidelines, checking each plate for completeness, temperature and accuracy.
Work in conjunction with Care staff, Managers, and Directors
Fill in gaps in Written Schedule (shift) to insure proper level of service
Maintaining daily cleanliness of dining room
Verify checklist is completed daily
All food (i.e. condiments) rolls, desserts labeled, dated and covered
Perform other duties as assigned
Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience: Previous fine dining experience and managerial experience in the service industry
