The Dishwasher will maintain dishes, pots, pans, and utensils in a clean and ready for use state. This role is responsible for cleanliness of dish washing and dietary areas and provides tray service. The incumbent holding this position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Dish Maintenance Duties:       

• Scrape, rack, and place soiled dishes in dish machine

• Sort, stack and store clean dishes

• Fill, clean, and empty dish machine

• Know and maintain dish machine temperature controls for wash and rinse cycles

• Operate dish machine

Support Duties:               

• Assist in meal preparation

• Handle cleaning supplies

• Maintain cleanliness of dish machine room and dietary area

• Collaborate with staff and Director of Culinary Services

• All other duties as assigned

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Operate dish machine

• Handle cleaning supplies and equipment 

• Knowledgeable of sanitary requirements, rules and regulations

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred)     

• On the job training provided 

• Ability to pass a criminal background check as well as Colorado CAPS background check. 

• COVID Vaccine Required or Valid Exemption.
